Should A Verizon iPhone Scare Google’s Android Platform?

Analysts have predicted it all concerning the release of a Verizon iPhone and how it would negatively affect AT&T, Verizon Wireless biggest competitor. Personally, I think AT&T will be alright considering their network is getting better, they will still have the majority of iPhone users, and the growth of Android and Windows Phone 7 is increasing on their network. However, should Google be worried in the least bit?

Quite simply, no! That’s at least for the next two years might I add. Let’s face it, no one really wants to cough up money just to switch prematurely to a new smartphone. This means that everyone who has helped Google Android surge will at the minimum stay with that device for approximately two years. This is driven even more when you consider the possibility of Verizon changing their upgrade policies. Moreover, Android is simply getting better and becoming more user friendly. This is detailed in clearly Android 2.2, 2.3, and 3.0!

Yes, Android will see less of Verizon’s advertising campaign that we have become familiar with – “DROID”, but does it matter at this point? We think not! There is too much Android fever in the air. But what the heck do we know; we want to hear your opinions! Hit up the comments and let us know!
