After Quitting, Qwitter Gets Acquired For A Cool $11,111 By TwitterCounter

There are a lot of acquisitions going on in the Twitter realm. That said, today Qwitter was purchased for only $11,111 by Twitter Counter. For those unfamiliar with the two companies, Qwitter is a pretty cool service that alerts you through email when someone stops following you on Twitter.  Additionally, the service helps you in identifying Twitter spammers and spam bots. Twitter Counter “ provides statistics of Twitter usage and tracks over 14 million users and counting. Next to that it offers premium services for even more powerful statistics and sells featured spots on its website to people who want to gain more followers.”

In addition to Qwitter, Twitter Counter picked up TweetSaver.com, which is a “a freemium service for Twitter users to archive their tweets and being able to search through them well beyond what Twitter itself offers.”
