Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV Moves 300,000 Units In 4 Days On iTunes

Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV has broken the iTunes record for first-week U.S. album sales in only four days with over 300,000 units sold. Lil Wayne breaks the record set only two weeks ago by Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Watch The Throne,” and held by Coldplay before that. After going live the album quickly clinched the #1 spot on the iTunes top album chart as well as the hip-hop chart, dethroning Jay-Z & Kanye West and Adele and surpassing brand new releases from Red Hot Chili Peppers and David Guetta.

Lil Wayne continues to rule the road as well on this summer’s I AM STILL MUSIC TOUR, with even more dates to be announced.
